re: Chitty !

lol its not that i dislike it its more that we had it for 3 months a few years back (The Big production of it) and i just dont really want to sit through it again. Kinda like how i feel about Mary Poppins now that has just closed at the Palace after 3 months lol

re: Chitty !

Where can I get details of the tour stops? I'd love to catch the show - have never seen it live sadly, and any plans for an Australian production seem to be on a cold dark cobwebby shelf somewhere re: Chitty !

Is there any show that has sat down for 3 months in Manchester and you have enjoyed every single performance? Apart from Flashdance of course!

re: Chitty !

Its in Southampton next April for about 3 weeks, just announced in local press. Surprised its going back there to be honest, sounds like a new production to some extent. Which considering the smaller venues it will need to be. Casting announced soon

re: Chitty !

Its not new, its just a massively scaled down production for cheaper touring to venues for a shorter run.

re: Chitty !

It didnt sell out first time round, and the smaller production is what I expected but hardly a selling point for bigger theatres. I only said new because of something Michael Rose said in the article

re: Chitty !

It was shrunk enough when I saw it in Southampton last time around, and I believe it shrunk again for the next tour. As this will now be the tour after that how small will it be now?
A matchbox toy of chitty and some puppys?

re: Chitty !

6th - 24th April Mayflower, however, tickets are quite abit cheaper this time, and this time they actually have discount on tickets for under 16's! This should help it sell abit!

I'll be heading down this time because of the discount.... well, depending on the cast of course!

It just so happens to be that most of the big sit down shows are not my kinda musicals, im enjoying WWRY fro the music and talent though
