I liked it for what it was: pure, endeniable fun. I always leave the theatre smiling after that show. The cast makes it worth it. As I and every other person has mentioned, Jan Maxwell is worth the price of admission. Talk about getting robbed of the Tony...

The rest of the cast I really enjoyed as well, though Esparza was hot and cold. I saw him turn in a wonderful performance one night, then completely phone it in the next.

The worst show you've seen on Broadway?? Did you miss In My Life? How about Dracula?

Loved the show from beginning to end. I agree with others who said Jan Maxwell stole the show and deserved the Tony. When the car flew for the first time at the end of act one, it brought a tear to my eye. I hope Chitty goes on tour!

i really enjoyed itfor what it is, a childrens show. Jan and mark were the highlights. you know what i am going to admit it here that i loved it! i t made me feel like a kid again. It was amazing seeing the car fly and everything else. It reminded me of my first experience with a broadway show, the large spectacle.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Am I the only one who thinks this isn't just a children's show? There is so much more to it than a children's show. it really is on two levels!

I love this show for the talent that's in it, for the amazing sets and the phenomenal dancing (ok, tell me you don't love Me Ol' Bamboo!) Plus, how can you not leave with a smile on your face. The story is such a great one. Maybe I'm biased cause I grew up watching the movie, I don't know.

And I agree. The first time I saw that car fly it brought tears to my eyes!

What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

Um. I like the second act better. Not that anyone asked me, haha. But hello, *points to the picture on the left*, you must understand!

"The tick BOOM tick BOOM is so loud I can't hear the rain on the grass. I can't hear the wind. I'm about to scream. But I realize I'm not alone."

I have indeed seen Dracula and In my life. And my statement holds. Those that were there with me that night agree as well.
