Raúl goes fatherly...

Flop. I saw it in London and hated it. MAybey the cast I saw was bad but if there gonna target this too kids wich they abviously are its gonna be a problem. It will do well initially, but I think the word of mouth will be that its far to long. In fact most of it drags, The Flying Car is awesome, and the Baron and Baroness are funny, but other than those two highlights its not that good of a show. Now I also hated the movie as a kid so im biased, but I Think that the show wont do well after the first few months.

Raúl goes fatherly...

I know, but it would be so funny to see Euan acting on the street! Raúl goes fatherly...

And as far as a Tony, I don't know what to think anymore.

Raúl goes fatherly...

I was never a fan of the film, but I hope it will be a hit, for the performers involved. And I hope they have changed it enough to make it appealing to me...lol...
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Raúl goes fatherly...

Huh?

The film didn't do much for me either. Which really breaks my heart because I love Dick Van Dyke but I just couldn't get into it.

The film is one of the most ridiculous things I have *ever* seen. It's so silly. It's okay if the show is silly, but if it's exactly like the movie, I think my head might fall off.

Raúl goes fatherly...

Passion was indeed a financial flop. It received good reviews and won four Tony Awards, but lost its investment.

Raúl goes fatherly...

The main girl playing Jemima (the little girl) is from my hometown. I met her last time I went home. She is apparently amazing and she was really sweet when I talked to her. She had lots of questions about life in New York. Other then that, I can't wait to see the show, it was one of my favorite movies growing up and I always figured it would end up on stage.

Chitty onstage is very different from the movie. Thank GOD.
"Well, obviously Company is about the Kennedy family. Bobby is played by Raul, and JFK is played by Harvey Fierstein." -vfd88

Hit or flop?

Hit! The movie is a classic, I can't say I'm a huge fan. But I can't say I did'nt have the movie stuck in my head a few days after the first viewing. A relative of mine saw it in London, and loved it. With Broadway's designs today, the set and costumes are bound to be incredible. I'd love to see how they are going to do the 'flying car' sequence.

Hit. Every adult knows the movie and they're going to want to experience it live...especially with their kids. I by no means hated the movie...I LOVE the movie. There's nothing like it.
