Yes, but how long until you go to the STAGE DOOR, Emcee?!

Hit or flop?

I think Raul has a chance! Look at 2003 Tonys. Marissa won for Tracy in HAIRSPRAY, aginst THE Bernedette Peters in GYPSY! Although, I think that Bernie had bad attendence towards the begining of the run of the show.

Hit or flop?

I think they both have a chance. I'm expecting him to dance a lot in this show, so maybe that will help his chances.

Can someone tell me about that newspaper article?

Hit or flop?

Kids, we watched Chitty when we were kids. It was before MTV, cable, etc. It is part of our childhood. My guess is that "we" will bring our kids to NY to see it.

Hit or flop?

I don't think Raul will win a Tony, and might not even get a nomination. This is a great year for men, with Tim Curry and whoever else is leading in SPAMALOT, if Dennis O'Hare is leading for SWEET CHARITY, plus John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz for DRS, maybe B.D. Wong for PACIFIC OVERTURES (doubtful,) there's still Cheyenne Jackson for ALL SHOOK UP and a few other's I'm forgetting. The part is pretty terribly written, but I'm hoping he can turn crap into gold, as he did with TABOO.

I love Raul, but Norbert = TONY. I hope he gets a nomination, though.

Oh God, I hope Norbert wins this year!

And Brdlwyr, I watched CHITTY when I was a kid too, and could take it or leave it. NOW I'll take it. Every night at 8 and Wednesdays at Sundays at 2 until hunkman's contract is up.

Hit or flop?

I HATE the movie.

However, Tim Curry's performance in Spamalot was not all that Tony worthy. It was funny, but it was just mediocre. It didn't blow my mind. But Norbert...WOW. I think he is going to be very hard to beat, but not impossible.

And I'm just guessing here, but I really do think there is going to be a lot of dancing in Chitty. It's going to be very classic family good clean fun musical with a lot of old school dancing. I watched the Broadway Beat clip. I know there is going to be major dancing, I just know it. I beleive it's going to be close. But, we'll just have to wait and see. I mean, we haven't even SEEN Raúl's performance yet. And one thing that I know about Raúl, is that he never fails to shock the crap out of me.
