I know there are various schools of thought on this, but I want to open it up here.
At a professional audition, do you think it's appropriate to occasionally sing a song directly from the character you're auditioning for if it works really really well. Or, is this always a big no-no?

Posted: 8/20/10 at 12:25pmAnd that's what I do to play it safe. I just have also heard several casting directors say that if it's a song that you can really knock out of the park then go for it. But then again, those casting directors probably won't be at this audition...haha.
