Chris Mann Broadway?

Chris Mann(Phantom tour, The Voice, and the namesake of my user) hinted that he will be returning to the stage soon in an article from his hometown newspaper .Back in late May, he said in his Instagram story that he was at a meeting with Telsey casting. In July, he was randomly in NYC for a day for "work reasons" from his Instagram story(He is LA based) . A few weeks ago, he was doing concerts with Heather Headley in Brooklyn and Boston and was silent on social media for a few days after that, His PledgeMusic says that he will be touring for his upcoming album so I assume it's not something long term. His wife just returned to the Phantom tour as fill in and confirmed to me that she is only back through mid January. Anybody have an idea on what he could be in? Kinky Boots is closing in April and Charlie Price wouldn't surprise me with their recent casting pattern of random casting. Espically since Chris has always been very vocal on LGBT rights on social media...

I very much agree, and based on the OP's info about Mr. Mann's commitments in the near future, I'm now getting queasy at the prospect of them sticking him in a limited Broadway run of Love Never Dies. The timing seems to fit.

Article says that the "return to the stage " will not be The Phantom. Plus,he was having meetings with Telsey when Love Never Dies is cast by Tara Rubin Casting like all other CamMac/ALW shows

Noticed that he recently liked a tweet from Laura Benanti about MFL. Are Henry Haddon Patten and Jordan Donica leaving soon ? I know that's cast by Telsey...

Unless he's the new Pottamer since he recently followed Sara on IG, the only other role cast by Telsey that's expecting a replacement is Charlie Price in Kinky Boots.. ...

Returning to the stage doesn’t mean broadway. Telsey also does national tours.

Oh yeah , You have a point . I didn't think he'd do another national tour now from some post Phantom interviews and with a young kid but wife is now back in Phantom for a bit.

You appear to have an unhealthy obsession and sense of familiarity with this performer.  Should we warn him and his family?

I googled “Chris mann broadway” and the second result was the offical website for phantom on tour.

I don't think trying to interpret every random social media follow, like and offhand comment of his is going to do anything other than continue to send you spinning in circles. If they know you well, why don't you just ask him either directly or on social media?
