Thank God this might actually happen. Having collectively 10 rows in a theater that big where you can actually see the stage is ridiculous so here's hoping this makes seeing a show there a much more pleasant experience!

It was never built nor is it suited for use as a performing arts center.

About time. The ceiling is falling apart and it's got the worst sightlines of any theatre I've been in.

I'll also echo the thank god. That balcony is a terrible experience.

Glad to hear that they are renovating. I tried to see a dance concert there. Unfortunately Marge Simpson sat in front of my balcony seat and I could barely keep my feet out of her wig. Bad theater experience.

That place is too big to see a show. I stopped going to Encores unless I can score a great seat. otherwise you can't see and you can't hear.
