". . . you can't judge them as a person"
The point really is that you shouldn't do that anyway.

To me, the classiest woman on Broadway is the one who realizes that what she's doing is a privelage and is something that many others dream of doing. She realizes that people are giving their time and money to see her performance. She performs in the role she has won on a regular basis and only misses shows for scheduled vacations and in situations of extreme illness. She gives her all on stage and is gracious with any fans she might have.
As far as I'm concerned, any actress who truly meets those expectations, is the classiest woman on Broadway.

Classy women to me:
Julie Andrews [she should be a queen!]
Victoria Clark [beautiful, hilarious, and sweet]
Kelli O'Hara [gorgeous and wonderfully caring]
[more to come in the next post... I have no idea how to do more than three pictures in one post]

Lea Salonga [who still seems genuine and sweet after everything, and I love her because she has accomplished so much even through her race and things without it]
Sutton Foster [someone who would just be your friend]
After these... I can't think of anyone else right now. It has been a long day, so maybe more later.

I have to say, it's hilarious that you kick off a thread about classy women with an enormous crotch shot of Brooke Shields.
This board never fails to amuse me.

LOL. I just read Elphaba's post now.
Honey - I am mainly talking about OUTSIDE of performing. Brooke is in character there - she isn't like that in person lol.
