"I'm gonna get a little technical:
The term "Munchkin" actually applies to being a citizen of Munchkinland, rather than a title of stature."
That's very true Aigoo. Don't forget, Elphaba was born in Munchkinland. She's not short. Granted, Clay is 6'1", but it's just the point.
I dont see Clay as Boq, necessarily or Fiyero. I don't think Wicked is his show. He'd be a great hantom or Chris in Miss Saigon. I heard him singing This is the Moment when he was in high school (I believe it's on allthingsclayaiken.cm) Aside from a cheap accent, it was superb, especially for a 17 year old kid.

I mean he probably wouldn't do it, but I think he'd be great at it. Anyway, in Wicked Galinda does say "Aren't you extremely tall," so he doesn't have to be short. GO CLAY!!

To the Munchkin height vs citizenry arguement.
In "Wicked" (the bok) Elphaba & Nessarose where members of the Royal family which according to the book did not have the same genetic traits as the rest of the Munchkin citizens (ie being short). In fact it was the one way in Munchkinland to tell the difference between the royal bloodline and the commoner - commoners where short, royals where normal height. While I don't think it was directly stated but it was implied that they (Elphaba & Nessarose's familY) did not originate from the area but it was more of a conquer and rule senario.
Plus Munchkins = short. There are just somethings that cannot be changed.
