No Mr. Tuttle, not about Idina. About Clay actually being good enough surpassing Sutton and all that. Because some people said they were "claymates" or whatever.

i think tamyra is better suited for broadway than clay .she can not only sing but act as well as dance . tamyra is someone that has wanted to be in show biz for years and will work hard for the success she deserves . clay was never really intrested in show biz but got lucky on american idol.

ummmm...lol

well, i agree with Jdanton that tamyra and i will add justin have more muti-talents!

i am not up on all the idols backgrounds, but the only idol i know of studying theater at the Univ. of New york was Justin Guarini...he has been in many theater productions prior to Amer. Idol so he can dance, sing and act to me he is a triple threat! boy can he dance!

Tamyra is also very talented and did a good job acting in Boston public!

My money is on Tamyra and Justin long term i just think they will get their break in the future and their talent will carry them!

Clay has a Great voice no doubt about it...acting wise or dancing might be another question? i also was disapointed in his Xmas special i am not sure what i was expecting...

but maybe the right show would work for Clay...maybe Rent Clay has a lot of energy it seems and quick wit, so the maybe take some acting classes as i'm sure all the Idols need...

By the way...i hope you all Check out my IDOL Xmas Song i posted on this board below! it's very funny i no a ton of idol fans are on this board!

Okay, Clay is really good but he's definately not a leading male character. He is too small and has a very unique look about him. I'd say that he'd make a great Boq in Wicked (he kinda looks elfish and is a tenor) or a great Bobby String in Urinetown, or a really great Frankie Epps in Parade. He looks young too, so he could play any of the young parts.

I can't believe any of you are taking this thread seriously. You are just making yourself look more inept when you post with roles he could play. Clay should not do broadway, nor theatre. That is the point of this thread. The fact that people cannot read sarcasam blows my mind.

Sarcasm has no place on Broadwayworld.com. And besides, as Ms. JJsugar will probably agree, anything Clay can do, Justin Guarini can do better,
