Has anyone done/seen this show? ...or does anyone have a CD of the music? The theater I'm involved with is in the process of selecting the coming season and this sounds like it could be a funnish show.
Thanks!!

I saw this at the Player's theater with Denny Dillon and I had a ball, the ending needed some work, but I really enjoyed the music, especially the fun and cooky "Everyday Devices"
I actually ordered a CD from them and actually paid for it, but never got it, I think I received refund until "a new pressing was to be made" but it was never made, I guess.
I guess they didnt have the demand at all.
Its a shame, because I would have loved to have it to remember the show.
Growing up I loved "Clue: The Movie" so much, as well as the vcr games (anyone else remember those). I would love for this to come back to NYC, but I doubt it will happen.
I too have always wondered about this show. Didn't it star Denny Dillion? She's such a funny woman!
I also loved the movie and the VCR game. That VCR game was so funny in its own right. My favorite scene was when they were watching TV and there was a special police bullitin looking for Mr. Green or someone similar and he kicks in the tv (on accident) before the report concludes. Later, Ms. Peacock throws the candlestick at a radio (on top of the tv) to stop the police announcement about her. Everyone looks at her - she said that it "slipped".
I saw a production of this several years ago at a dinner theatre here and absolutely loved it. It was so much fun and I'd absolutely recommend it to do.
I have seen this show. It is very good. It is also a good show for audience participation. There really is not legitimate cd out there of this show. The harmony in this show is very good. The only problem in the show is the ending. It is complete crap.

I adore this show! I've seen it twice (once pro, once school) and it has been flawless both times. In regards to the music, there are MIDIs at www.hamienet.com. There was a cast recording made (don't know if it was the off-Broadway cast or not) but it wasn't released. I've heard a few of the songs, and I'm very sad that it wasn't successful enough to get a release. Hopefully someone will pick it up for a revival one day and we'll finally get the CD we all want!
I ordered a CD too and never received it. I hope they do release it someday. that would be neat. I also find it funny that people are criticizing the ending when there were, I believe, over two hundred different endings.
Well no thats not what luponatic means. He is talking about that fact that the piano player is the one that ends up doing it after that big long confession by the character
Piano player? Never seen the show, but that seems odd to me!
Wait....what????????
The piano player did it? How...odd. Could someone care to explain that a little more?
I never saw the show, but love the movie, and the idea of a Clue musical intrigued me. It didn't last long enough for me to see it, however. Didn't the audience get little "clue sheets" to use during the show, so they could eliminate suspects?
Yes the piano player did it...
In the beginning the audience literally decides who did it, with what, and in which room...so the play was different every night...at the end there is a confession where the detective blames it on Prof. Plum after going down the line of all the suspects
But he is not the real Prof. Plum...the piano player is, and he comes out of the pit at the end and does his whole evil monologue thing...
