I was reading the "Mean Girls" threads and saw some people mention Colleen Ballinger for Gretchen. I knew who Miranda was, but didn't know anything about Colleen. Huge fan of hers, seen her in concert many times. Love her. I have asked about Broadway and she says she's auditioned a little (she recorded some demo songs for First Date many years back), but nothing has ever worked out. I know she tours the world as Miranda and that is a main source of income, so it could also be her being unable to put that down and do a substantial Broadway run, and still make videos on Miranda Sings. But I hope one day she makes the time, she is a remarkable performer.

I hope she gets to Broadway one day as well. There is the possibility of her being type cast as Miranda, but I think he's done a pretty good job of keeping Colleen and the Miranda character very separate. She could have made a decent Belle if Beauty and the Beast were still on the boards.

I somewhat agree with what @CATSNYrevival said. I feel like she might be type cast as Miranda, even though she does do a good job at keeping Colleen & Miranda separate. However, that being said, I hope she does get a role on Broadway soon! Her acting/non-Miranda comedic skills/and vocal abilities are INSANE!

I think Colleen and her fiancee, Joshua David Evans, could be amazing in Into the Woods as Cinderella and her prince.

I need to listen to Colleen sing "No One Is Alone" like right now
