I didn't see the production on Broadway and doubt I would have had a chance to do so, so this was really a gift. I think watching this it in the comfort of my own couch on my own TV with clear sound (didn't miss a word) helped disguise any flaws the production may have. And you can't beat the cost of the ticket! So appreciated the opportunity to experience this.

Out of respect for the actors we waited until intermission to leave.

I'm a big fan of Marc Bonanni (Broadway by Ghostlight) and his Broadway Jeopardy series on YouTube. For anyone unfamiliar with it, Marc has a game grid in the standard Jeopardy style with a new set of categories each week and clues in increasing levels of difficulty. He seemed genuinely happy to be on the stage at every performance I was fortunate to see. There wasn’t a moment he appeared bored or otherwise engaged. I hope he truly felt the joy he brought to the community he so clearly loved.

I think about this thread often because I live in Houston and our real feel summer temperatures hover in the neighborhood of 110. It's hot as hell (and at the moment most of us don't have electricity after the storm, but that's a topic for another thread). People tend to dress more conservatively at the big theaters that support touring shows than they do in New York. Check the Theatr app early and often every day. I've noticed several last minute Merrily tickets available due to the crazy weather conditions in the south shutting down airports and canceling flights. Theatr app rules stipulate that tickets can be sold for no more than face value (to which they tack on a reasonable fee) so there's the potential to stumble on one at an affordable price.
