They're both up for Best Musical. Didn't want to make the subject line ridiculously long by naming all four shows up for the award.

Everyone has their favorites and least favorites for awards. It'll be fun to hear everyone debate their choices and to see overall what the audience thinks will happen and who deserves what.

Hope you'll join us.

I know it's nominated, it's just strange - everyone has said that the race is between Jersey Boys & The Drowsy Chaperone.

You ALWAYS make your subject lines rediculously long anyways. Does it really come down to TCL and JB? Damn we are in so deep if so...

I am at my office here in Denver trying to tie some things up before I leave for New York on Friday. I will be at the Tony Awards next Sunday so I will be listening in here at my desk! I will try to call also!

It was just a subject line. Not an opinion about who the contenders are. I really try to keep the subject lines down, but for people who might want to actually talk about the subjects we're focusing on during the show, the subject line may be the only way they know that the show even exists.

For the record, I have been singing the praises of Drowsy Chaperone on my radio show since I first saw it in Los Angeles LONG before it headed to Broadway. It wasn't a snub to leave it out of the subject line.

But honestly, that's the great thing about a talk show (especially one that's free to listen to AND free to call in to) - that we can all talk about and debate what we all think are the best and worsts. I can only give my opinion about how I feel about the shows. But I make it quite clear that I'm not a reviewer. I'm a show host - to help facilitate the opinions of EVERYONE who calls in.

So anyway, don't get so bogged down in the wording of the subject line - I'd rather have you put the energy into calling into the show to talk about the shows and performances you most believe in.

Thanks!
