Hi everyone

Ok, so I know this is a Broadway site but I thought you all may be interested in the following link to Bernadette Peters new movie.

And before you post a cheeky response, reminding me its not the best place to post; its Bernadette Peters, a Broadway legend playing a washed up Musical theatre star, the title is a nod to Broadway and she even sings a little of "Big Spender"

From this small clip, i am really excited to see the film.

I'll give anything with Bernadette Peters a chance. I first saw her on THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW and then, SILENT MOVIE after that a short-lived sitcom she did with Richard Crenna called ALL'S FAIR. Back then I associated her with other comediennes of the day. It wasn't until the 1980's that I found out she was a musical performer, but I've always been a fan.

Thank you both for replying. I love Bernadette, am so excited by this movie and Follies! Wow!

The film looks really dark, i kept thinking Bernadette's character was suddenly going to slap her daughter!!

Hope it gets a wide release

New website for Bernadette Peters new film directed by Lisa Albright. According to someone on All that Chat its amazing!
