Comp ticket question

I obtained two comp tickets for Beautiful tonight that I cannot use because of the weather. I don't live in the city so getting to the theater would be a big problem. The tickets were given to me by a friend of my daughter's who got them from his place of employment. Would it be appropriate to call the theater to see if I could exchange fir another date or am I SOL?

Comp tickets are almost always handled from the point of contact/the origin of the ticket.

Generally, they're not exchangeable.

However, you lose nothing by calling the theater Nd asking.
