Even when there's no one by his side for comparison, he looks five feet tall. It's adorable.
Also? Angel Desai looks about twenty years younger on stage.

They actually interviewed me for this, off the cuff. I happened to be talking to one of the cast members while the cameras were around and they decided to put me on the spot. Thank God I'm not in it. I was too awkward to be of use to them anyway.

That broadway.com video is borderline obnoxious. I guess they have to grab an interview when they can but in the middle of the signing? Seriously? I feel sorry for both sides. The people in the line are walking by and just grabbing their cd because the cast members are turned around talking to the camera, and the cast members are having to try to sign while facing behind them to talk to the camera. Would you want to be signing autographs and trying to give an interview at the same time? It is really unfortunate that they expected the performers to talk to them in the middle of their event. You know some people waited forever thinking they might get to speak to or have a moment with someone in the cast, and then their moment is taken away because the performers back was to them the whole time. Oh well.
I agree; it seems sort of intrusive to the process, but at the same time, you do what you have to do. The conversations across the table were too quick to be in depth anyway, for what it's worth.
nice video. makes me more excited to see the show!
Hah, I'm in the video! Well actually it's just the middle third of my body. Just at the beginning of Barbara Walsh's interview bit I'm being handed my cd by Kelly Jeanne Grant. And I'm still in love with Elizabeth Stanley, since I saw her as Amneris two years ago.
The fascinating part for me is Raul's admitting that sometimes they hear people in the audience crying at the end! That must be quite a feeling for them.
