The window display was adorable. I really do want a phallic column lamp for my apartment.
heh, the nose.
The entire cast was so wonderfully kind. CD signings have the potential to be awkward, so at first I was just going to watch the performances, but I'm glad I opted to have my CD signed. I hadn't had a chance to meet the majority of the cast yet, and they were so gracious to learn how much people adore the show.
The performances were great, but the acoustics... ouch. Raúl sounded beautiful.

What was the window display?
I took pictures of it. Give me a few minutes and I'll post them.
I got there around five and ended up standing on the line outside the room, thinking I wasn't going to get in. My daughter (who is home from college this weekend) thought we weren't going to get in so she went to wander around Barnes and Noble. They started to let a few more people in just before the performance and I was one of the last, standing in the back at the right side of the room. But since I was standing two feet away from Raul I won't be heard complaining. He has the most extraordinary color eyes. He was clapping and "bravoing" for Barbara and "his" three girls after they performed. I thought his Marry Me a Little was, as always, perfect. Couldn't stay for the signing but I bet it was fun. Norn, just got my "Company" print and coffee cup through the mail today - great work, as always.
hehe. New avatar to commemorate my, um...conversion. :)
Willkommen.
I'm glad it was wonderful. I wish I could have been there.
Can't wait to see your pictures, Emcee.
Chica, yay!
Thank you all for posting details about the signing. It sounds like a blast.
I don't have any of the cast, unfortunately. My camera is a dinosaur, so I decided not to bother. There were lots of professional photographers there.
There was also someone filming for broadway.com
I hope it goes up. I'm excited to see!
Sorry the last two are huge and a bit blurry... and for the random bike.
I do like the random book about Barcelona.

I think the bike's a nice touch.
Chica, tengo celos.
THAT is what the window card should have looked like!
EMCEE!!!

I had a lot of fun! So many people came out - I had to stand outside too. Great to see all the support though!
The window display was so cool - thanks for the pictures
I want to see the show again. ASAP.

^Same. Even though the last time I saw it was only a little over a week ago. I was tempted to go and pick up a ticket after the signing.
Well, then the sampling of performances was a success.

i bet they were all really on last night.
such nice people.
Love the displays. Including the Barcelona travel book.
I was giggling on the way out of the store. I was right behind an older woman who was saying to everyone who would listen that this was the most disappointing thing she had ever been to - she thought it was going to be a free performance of the entire play!
