I cannot wait to see this tonight at 7:30! What should one wear, especially if one has never attended a production at Avery Fisher Hall?

I second what PalJoey said, especially since tonight is the Spring Gala, and there may be people who are very dressed up.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

Program notes are now available at the link below. NY Phil says running time is 2:45.

With the gala tonight, do you think the cast will sign at the stage door?

A run time of 2:45 makes me optimistic that there won't be too many major cuts. Fingers crossed.

And I agree that dressing up makes it more fun.

A work of art is an invitation to love.
