Conan would need a part to do him justice but he could completely pull off Broadway. I love him and he is so talented. I think a Martin Short thing would be great but he already has his own show on TV! He's wonderful.
Ourtime992... was it ever announced he was taking over the Tonight Show? It'd be great if he did but I do not recall seeing that anywhere?

how about no one! good idea right.....
But i will have to see him as the man in the chair. It would have been funny to see his "robby hart"...even though he shouldn't play the role

Posted: 1/2/07 at 11:04pmI still don't trust that the show will be his until NBC announces it themselves. And with the problems Dave Letterman had with NBC and getting that show, I'm not even sure that I'd trust NBC's announcement for something to happen in 2009.

Posted: 1/2/07 at 11:12pmNBC did officially announce it. He's been on CNN about it and metioned it many times on his show.

Posted: 1/2/07 at 11:32pmaccording to some in the industry, the main impetus for NBC not pushing Leno to continue beyond his current contract is the concern that Conan has outgrown the late night spot and the don't want to lose him to another network.

Am I the only one here who thinks Conan is a total fraud?

Posted: 1/3/07 at 12:22amWhat do you mean a fraud? He is extremely talented and brilliant, I would say one of the most talented people in all of show business, and I mean ALL, including the stage. If you think about it, his show really is like a stage production. Don't diss Conesy!! = )

Posted: 1/3/07 at 9:01pmHahaha Mary Sunshine would be too funny! He is definetly suited for Billy, he can really get that 20's thing down. He often does it on his show. And no I have not seen every show I listed though I have seen a few, others I have seen on film and the rest I have heard on cast recording or appearances on talk shows. And I watch Conan religiously every night, TiVo it, then watch it again the next morning just in case I missed anything or because it was especially hilarious. So although I may not know the roles extremely well, I know Conan and his mannerisms extremely well, and I think he could be amazing as any of the roles I have listed.

Posted: 1/3/07 at 9:11pmagain I don't think everybody can be in B&tB, I never said that. I'm just saying he would be an incredible Lumiere. The only other person I've named that I thought would be good in B&tB was Josh Groban as Beast.
