Cool J, Rose, Rashad to Star in Black "Cat" Revival?

Apparently, they're in talks, according to Page Six.

"FIRST, Sean Combs lit up the Broadway stage in "A Raisin in the Sun." Now another hip-hop star, LL Cool J, is in talks to land the role of Brick in a revival of Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," our sources say. The show will be produced by Stephen Byrd and directed by Debbie Allen. Others said to be in talks with Byrd for roles include Allen's sister, Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose and Louis Gossett Jr."

I guess Anika Noni Rose is very hot on the markets right now. Either way, this does excite me.

I thought Rashad was already involved with this project before but withdrew along with McDonald and co.
