Could anyone see Taymor's "Across the Universe" on Broadway?

I love the film and I think a stage adaptation could be a visual masterpiece. I do agree the film's plot is a little thin, but in a wayit all makes sense because the era in which it takes place was full of a sense of not caring about authority and doing whatever you wanted. A stage adaptation could be a chance to fix the film's flaws and give more dialogue to the characters as well as show more in-depth relationships with the characters (namely Jude/Lucy and Sadie/JoJo). It could also focus more on Prudence's bisexuality and coming to terms with it. And hopefully, they could help the "Mr. Kite" scene make more sense. Any thoughts? Comments?

"Lennon" killed all notions that a Beatlesey jukebox musical would work today. Beatlemania and Rain not exactly counting.

Go to Vegas and see "Love."

I'm sure with the right drugs you could SEE it, but good look finding drugs that would make the experience entertaining.

I hated this movie! I expected to love it, but it was quite apparent that the plot was built around the songs, and that's not a good thing. No, no, no.

The movie was pretty awful, I agree.

There were some interesting visuals but what a bore.

I would rather Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ony day than this.

The movie was mainly insane CGI sequences set to music. I think it would be very hard to translate that to the stage.

No. I enjoyed the soundtrack, but the plot wasn't all that great and kinda felt forced. It had the jukebox feeling to it that i really wish they would quit putting on the Broadway stage.
