I went to the Cry Baby BO around noon today. Here's what they said:
$26.25 (or .50, I forget now) student rush for front row sold when the BO opens. No Sunday performances during previews.
Thank you for checking. Considering what I've read so far I might only want to spend that much to see it.
Has anyone done rush? How crazy is it and how many tickets is it? Thinking of trying, but don't know what time to get there....

DONT GO! donate ur money to a great charity! this show is not worth $5 a ticket! its terrible
I did student rush for the first preview on Saturday. I got there around 1:30 for the 8:00 show and there were only like, 4 people in front of me.
Thanks for the info!

Awesome! Thanks a lot for this info.
I'll try and get around to rushing this soon. I think I'll reserve my judgment on the show until I see it myself.
Is it one per ID or two?
Thanks for the info. I'm going to rush for tomorrow nights show.
I'm pretty sure it's 2. I got there about 10:45 yesterday and got front row center. Granted I only needed 1 seat. The people a couple in front of me (there were some gen admin people in between) got tickets on the side, but the first set.
Is this going to continue when the show actually opens or is it just the policy for previews?
Assuming it opens... LOL. I haven't heard that it won't continue. I don't think they're going to be selling a lot of full-price tickets once the reviews hit. unless they rewrite the entire show between now and then.
bump
has anybody tried the rush lately? what time would you say to get there? i'm planning on going the last preview day (april 23)
I didn't see it but we rushed Gypsy yesterday and then went to stop at Cry Baby just to ask about the details and there were still rush tickets left at that time (so it must have been about 1030am by then because we had stopped at a few other shows as well) though I didn't ask if that was evening or mat (or both) since I already had tickets for both time slots already.
So yah, seems like its not in that much demand at this point.

I went to the show back on the 22nd and we got there maybe 11:30 and we got the last 3 tickets. I don't know if it's gotten easier/harder.
was able to score the last rush ticket at 6 for last nights show.
I am sure if you beat the bushes you can get a free ticket to this show. They have been papering a lot since previews began.

How can I get free tickets to this show? Is it not worth the rush price?
Is it ok for a 9 year old to see?
I didn't care for it. I saw it for free-As did 75% of the half full balcony-and am glad none of my hard-earned money went to pay for my ticket. Rush pricing is the most I would pay.
I probably shouldn't have made it sound like they are giving tickets away at the box office but, if you know any broadway people, I am sure they can hook you up with a freebie for this one.
Just curious if the information on Talkin Broadway is correct. They say rush tickets go onsale 2 hours before showtime. My friend & I would like to see it on Saturday, do you think if we show up at 12 noon for the 2pm show we will get tickets?
(And yes yes I know, save your money, don't see it, blah blah, but I want to make up my own mind about the show, if I hate it it's only $25.)
