I used the search feature but I couldn't find anything on it, so I thought I might ask. Does anyone know the current cast of Avenue Q? I looked on the website and it said that Cristy Carlson Romano was still in it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Howie is still in the show? Darn, I was kind of hoping he would give someone else a chance at the role.
He will be leaving when his contract is up

I've seen Howie twice and thought he was GREAT both times.
I've seen him live in 07...not my cup of tea
Howie will play his last perfromance on July 5th. It says it on his website. I believe and hope his understudy Jonathan Root will take over.
Oh I really hope Jonathan Root takes over! He was great
I would recommend seeing Q just to see Carey Anderson. She's wonderful!!
I havn't seen Carey yet, just Mary Faber. I liked Mary. I was wanting to see the show again in august and just might have to now :) Thanks Broadwaygirl99
Well darn...I'm seeing the show in late august.
Um is there a chance Q might close? I love this show and wish it the best
I've seen Mary and Keli Sawyer in the role and both were amazing!
I really hope Avenue Q doesn't have Shannon Durig Syndrome. Shannon was in Hairspray forever, and then the show closed shortly after she left (though it was for unrelated reasons).
Howie has been in Avenue Q forever...
There's always a chance it will close, but I'm sure as long as Jennifer Bernhard stays with it, it will survive. lol
There is a chance any show will close :).
I think that Avenue Q is doing fine. It has a very low nut and very low run costs. It isn't one of those shows that needs to constantly be selling out with full price tickets to survive.
I have seen Carey a few times. She is very good in the role and I hope she extends. However, I do find it funny that the both shows she has done on Broadway she has also done on tour as well. She was in the tour of Mamma Mia before joining the Broadway company and then she did the tour of Avenue Q while stepping out for a while to let Romano play the role on Broadway and then came back after Carlson Romano's contract was up.

I can't believe Jen is still with the show. Pretty cool if you ask me. I wish Keli Sawyer got a shot at playing Kate Monster/Lucy on Broadway. I saw her in the tour and she was GREAT.
How much longer till AVENUE Q cracks the top 20 of longest running Broadway musicals? I know HAIRSPRAY is currently in the 19th spot, and it opened only a year before Q.
Keli WAS on broadway. The first time I saw the show was with her as Kate/Lucy..and Rob McClure as Nicky/trekkie
Ann Sanders has been with it longer than Howie. I think only Jenn Barnhart has done it longer than she.
Ann has been on and off. Howie has legit been with this show in the same role for almost 3 years
