Avenue Q is less than 100 performances away from being 20th all time (would pass The Producers)

You don't pass up a sure paycheck. Just ask George Lee Andrews or Marlene Daniele.

I would really doubt that she'd want to go back to Mamma Mia since she did it for such a long time. And besides, Brandi is there now and I haven't heard anything about her being replaced.
Maybe Carey's going to a different show?
Anderson holds the record for being the longest Sophie that the Broadway cast has had. I don't think that she would want to go back. Besides, Brandi is doing a wonderful job as Sophie and I haven't really heard anything of them getting rid of her anytime soon.
Maybe she is taking a break?

I agree...but then...I wonder where Carey is going?

Saw Howie last December and he was boring. Played both characters the same way, same voice etc. Howie was like a high school replacement.
Of the 3 Lucy/Kates I've seen Cary Anderson was the BEST. Fantastic performance and extremely nice after the show.

I've never been particularly fond of Ann Sanders as Christmas Eve. Unless she's grown into it over time, I found her too sterile, too nice, too mild. It's hard to top Ann Harada, but I thought Minglie Chen did a great job when I saw here and would love to see her get the role full time.
I believe that both Ann Sanders and Carla Renata are also leaving the show

If I'm not mistaken, Avenue Q has non-equity actors that perform in their show (on Broadway). There's a good chance that they'll take some of those kids (who are probably swings and such) and put them in the non-eq tour.
WTF?

?
I'm confused. Non-equity actors in Avenue Q on Broadway? Wouldn't such actors earn/have to get Equity status after being cast? And if so, they'd need permission to join the non-equity tour, correct?

Carey is leaving a steady paycheck to do....concerts???
Carey is not leaving Q to do concerts. There was a question about what she is doing next and she has a few shows lined up this summer.
What jennamajig said. I had hoped my WTF didn't need to be explained...
