I remember at Bernadette's radio City concert last year people were going crazy with the cameras; taking pictures throughout the entire evening. It was so rude. I was friggin distracted, so I can just imagine how annoying it is for the person on stage.

I must admit that I did take a picture during the curtain call of Gypsy. But it was Opening night, and I waited until the professional photographers were flashing their cameras so that mine would not seem out of place. re: It's CURTAINS! Final Curtains!

Taking pictures during a performance is just rude though....unless you're someplace like Madison Square Garden.

Believe it or not there is a copyright infringement. Whether a friend request it or not, without permission from the production, it's a no no.

Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

Yep -- it's a big no no.... I know of this one girl who was trying to take pictures on her digital during a friends opening night on Broadway (no flash of course!).... Unfortunately she was sitting too close to the stage and an actress in the company who the girl doesn't get along with saw her and pitched a fit with the rest of the company. Another friend of this girls had to defend her and get the actress to calm down... Interesting night, I heard...

I was at an Olivia Newton John concert a year ago and they actually said it was fine to take pictures. And my friend who is totally OBSESSED with her took....seven roles!!!!

I am a no picture nazi. This is the theater, not the circus. If you want a picture, but the souvineer program.

::laughs as Copeman chases down the gay teen with his camera and fag hag in tow after the teen took a picture of the Machotaness during Megamix, snatches the film, develops it, and hangs pics on his apartment wall::

Okay, so i *just* realized now that Im the person in the fan photos section with the Curtain Call picture.. duh. It was a press night at Chicago, announcing the opening of the new Canadian Company of Chicago. It's an okay picture to have.

BG2, I actually did Laugh Out Loud at your last comment.

Also, CJR, don't feel bad. I'm one of the other people with a curtain call photo. But, like I said, it was opening night at Gypsy. There were press people there taking photos as well. In fact, someone involved with the show (I will not say who...but he's important) was standing right next to me when I took it, and he didn't seem to care that I took one photo.
