#1Curtains Discounts
Posted: 1/19/07 at 11:35amHi People, new guy here from UK. I am coming to new york with group of friends at the end of Feb. Our one free night from six nights happens to be the 27th Feb, and that is the first nigth of Curtains. Does anyone know if there will be any discounts posted for the previews. I know tickets go on sale Sunday, but before i pay full price would love to see if i could get cheaper ones. Many thanks for all your help.

Keep trying there. They might not have any until much closer to the beginning of previews.
You can also join the Playbill.com discount club for free. Try that too.

thanks again, im jsut a bit worried just in case i wait and there are none for that particular night. and thats the only night we have free now. I suppose seeing seven shows in six days should make up for it.....but so want to see curtains.
thanks again for your advice

I imagine there's gonna be some type of rush or lotto for the show.
You can try that once its announced what its gonna be.

Most shows have offered discounts for previews except for a few sure fire hits, and I expect Curtains will too soon after testing the waters.
I'd also like to see the 1st preview, but I'm waiting this one out on Broadwaybox.com.

Posted: 1/21/07 at 8:36pmFor Wonderful Town, Sweet Charity, and The Wedding Singer, I don't remember the Hirschfeld offering much more of a discount than $26.25 student tickets, and I recall them insisting on seeing an ID too. Don't remember ever seeing a lottery there. But for Sweet Charity I think there was a BroadwayBox.com discount code towards the end of the run.
