Sadly I'm gonna have to wait a few weeks before I can afford to see this again. Until I can scrounge up enough cash I'm going to have to watch this and the BWW video to get my fix.
Thanks for the link!

Posted: 3/23/07 at 9:47pmYeesh, I just watched the Word Of Mouth thing. "David Hyde Pierce sang and danced, which I didn't know." *sigh* And that woman is a...domestic goddess? Yikes.

Gracias Rath! Wait--I just changed it. Are you refering to the Debra Monk one (which is also the wallpaper on my desktop) or my new Karen Ziemba one? Because both are adorable IMO.
The Word of Mouth review for this show represents the kind of boost actual word-of-mouth is givin the show. They loved it and all three said they would and will recommend it to everybody. I know they can be annoying, but hey, if they help sell this show let 'em be pretend critics all they want.

Posted: 3/23/07 at 9:49pmWell, I think we all know how I feel about Monk, but I was referring to the new Ziemba pic.

Posted: 3/23/07 at 9:49pmYeah, I mean it is nice that they gave it a good review, but honestly I cannot stand some of their comments. And that guy has to be the most boring 27 year old I've ever seen.

They're not the most articulate bunch, but they do represent the opinions of the average Broadway tourist. I wouldn't look to them for advice on what show to see, but a lot of people see shows based on recommendations from people like them.
I can't believe I'm almost defending them since I usually just make fun of them.

Posted: 3/23/07 at 10:43pmWord of mouth in general is how the show will stay open despite a large amount of negative reviews. Curtains is a great time in the theatre and I really am rooting for this show!

Did she not see Spamalot? Never mind. I think I just answered my own question.
