Defying -- How old are you? Has no one taught you that you aren't going make friends by insulting people?

NOTHING happens as quickly as you are suggesting in most of your threads -- not film to stage (trust me, they are going to focus on the additional films WAAAY before they entertain B'way); it takes years for most shows to consider a revival, etc, etc.

in my opinion, broadway needs to stay faaaaaar away from hunger games. it was the best movie ive ever seen. and jonathan groff should NOT play that role it should be hunter parrish.

Yes, HG is slated to premiere in 2014 along with "Saw: A Musical Comedy" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" (only part 2). All 3 will play the Helen Hayes in rep, and there are negotiations underway for Zac Efron to star in all 3.

Michael Ball is playing Peeta, because he now feels he has enough experience around pie shop.

And P.S., they are actually making a Hunger Games musical, a bit like AVPM. http://www.hungergamesmusical.com/ - I hope it never gets made.

Finally, a parody musical of Hunger Games in the works. What took them so long? I'm sure a small group of high-schoolers and their friends will find it HILARIOUS. Or perhaps students of a university theatre department and their friends. Also HILARIOUS. I hope they call it The Hunger Game: The Musical! The exclamation point makes it HILARIOUS.

And I hope Hunger Games is not coming to Broadway. Not because I'm not a fan of it, but because I cannot see it happening. That doesn't mean they probably won't try anyway.
