Laura Osnes' dress looks like something from The Golden Girls. She sounds fantastic, though.
Max....Ugh
Laura......Not too bad.
Well so far this is reminding me of- you know when you're in hotel rooms here in NYC, and there's that one channel that plays random theatre clips and such? It feels like that, rather than a program that's supposed to be a buildup to the Tonys. I think Mario shilled Visa for longer than that "A Little Mermaid" clip was.
Although, I love love love the bit with Lin-Manuel Miranda saying "In the Heights, 13 nominations"- that might've made me squee a little.

"ITH" commercial !! Woo Hoo !!!
Okay paging Cubby Bernstein, Where is the Xanadu commercial??? In the Heights just got a major plug. Now Xanadu needs its turn.
Loretta's voice is chilling.
Loretta has given by far the best performance on this broadcast so far. What a talented lady.

I LOVE Loretta, please give her the TONY!
And a glimpse of Peter Sachon and his magic cello.
Would give a slight edge to Evans so far as far as best tonight.

I have not seen the "Xanadu" commericial aired in quite a long time. "What gives?"
Okay that settles it Cheyenne is the hottest man alive
Okay, "Do Ya" should have been part of the "Xanadu" score !!!
Kind of weird choice---- I wonder if people are going to realize that they won hear this song (other than playing in the theatre lobby) if they see the show.
Stew give him his nomination now!!!!
Yes I, Yes I want yer love, Kerry and Cheyenne rock!
YES IT CAN! Best number so far from a new show.
Well, best number from a show that's not actually in the show!

"Wahhh...Wahhh"
OK, I can't cry on cue, but I still have no word that this will air in Seattle.
That was SO much fun. Don't know where it would have gone in the show but great performance. Kerry was really belting it out!

Thanks Testing....I was just about to ask that question. I know its been a while since i've seen the show, but i was sure would have heard something if they added it to the show!
The two oldest and worst dressed June and Louise ever, why don't these actresses own a mirror?
But they can sing.
That was a dull number to do on TV. I assume LuPone opted not to participate.
No prob, Kimmy !! They did such a great song with the song, but its just extremely odd that they would choose a song that is not in the show - Really wish they could have found a spot in the show for "Do Ya"- Great number, but once again, very deceiving.
Wow.. I loved that number that Xanadu did, unexpected and kind of a weird choice but it was fantastic! Really showed off Kerry and Cheyenne!
I think "Do Ya" was an odd choice for Xanadu since it's not even in the show. Didn't they do that recently as well? I thought I'd heard something about them performing a song that was cut from the show previously. That being said I really think Kerry and Cheyenne need to record the song.
I'm so disappointed to see so little of Faith Prince. I loved her performance in ACA and was really looking forward to seeing her perform tonight.
South Pacific and Xanadu gave the best peformances I thought of the evening (yes I know I am biased) But you have to admit that Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson rocked the house. Now to get a copy of that song!

Loretta Ables Sayre wins tonight.
Hands down.
Loretta and the number from Xanadu, despite not being in the show, were the highlights of this broadcast.
