Again, a Saturday night!
I'm too lazy to set up a tape.
Will this be repeated, like around 5:00 am Sunday morning like they did with the recent behind the scenes at South Pacific?

I watched most of it on the official DVD of the night yesterday, it was ok, some of the performances were great (GYPSY was a standout) and some of them were god awful (LITTLE MERMAID was terrible, Sierra was sharp most of her song).

The Xanadu cast is performing something called "Do Ya".
What the heck is that?

Do Ya is a song that was in an early workshop of Xanadu. An interesting choice, not sure if it is a smart one or not.
David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail

OK, what's up with Seattle (of all places) not airing this concert???
I mean, it is a great tie in to Bartlet Sher's "Namiste Man" playing in Seattle right now, what with his "South Pacific" playing on Broadway right now. That, and Seattle is becoming a pretty big theatre town (I mean, "Cry-Baby" was going to try out here (following in the heels of "Hairspray"), until they switched to La Jolla (I think)). I should write to our local CBS affiliate and complain.

On second thought, forget the Tony Preview Show this Sat., 6/7/08.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
