Ah...To stay on topic though, I hope that the Beyonce camp is over that whole thing because if she doesn't take the role everybody will know that it's for that reason. For her, this is the role of a lifetime. I remember in a magazine interview Summer 2003, she said that she would love to do movie-musical like Chicago and that a project for her was in the works? I wonder if that was DG or something else? I remember she was considered for Sister in the Sparkle remake.

"Sister" would have been a good role for her in a remake of "Sparkle". Too bad Aaliyah passed and that movie was put on hold. The last I heard, they were actually thinking of casting Raven Symone as "Sparkle" (which I actually think is a horrible idea).

Aaliyah would've made a great Sparkle or Deena. I'm a huge fan of hers and she was taken too soon.
