Although I hope Hudson wins (and Murphy too), I wish she had been nominated in the Lead Actress category, where she belongs.

The studios have been pushing her as Supporting for two reasons: 1) Beyonce probably insisted her part be considered leading and 2) It gives her a REAL shot at winning an Oscar. Had she been Leading, there's no way she can overcome Helen Mirren, who has all but won the award at this point.
