It says a lot about people when they get so irritated about something that doesn’t affect them one bit, but actually helps others. Here’s a tip, if nothing triggers you, don’t read the text below the sign that says, ‘trigger warnings.’ It works, I promise.

The advertising already states BOUND is 'for adults only' and based on the 'erotic thriller', that should be enough.

I think that’s a different situation. Posting notices outside the theater about graphic sexual content protects producers from prudish people demanding refunds or berating box office staff. People can claim they didn’t see advertisements, but if it’s clearly posted outside the theater, patrons are less likely to play dumb and become argumentative.
