I think calling it gay porn is a bit drastic. Gay erotica perhaps...

And anyway, little skin never hurt anyone. If it fits the scene why not! If you're gonna have a locker room scene why not make the most of it.

I know the show pretty well and don't recall the scene that's pictured. I'm sure someone who has seen the production can explain how it moves the story forward and fits into the time period.

The Neuwirth/Garber revival featured a locker room/shower scene with a flash of Greg Jbara's rear, but at least the ball players had realistic bodies, and the scene was played for laughs.
