A Chorus Line (at least the 06 revival) had the bows during "One/Finale" before the real dancing begins.
HAiR....

Beauty and the Beast's curtain call ends with a reprise of the title song.

Reefer Madness ends with a singalong of "Mary Jane Mary Lane."

Rocky Horror ends with the Time Warp.

There was certainly no dancing and singing following the curtain calls for any of the NYC productions of GYPSY. How are you going to top "Rose's Turn"?

Darquegk, really? From what I remember, Beauty and the Beast's curtain call was rather bland with no singing/dancing encores and just a simple bow with bow music...

I HATED the Billy Elliott curtain call. I mean, it changes the entire vibe of the ending of the show. I think it is insulting to audience members to not allow them to leave the theatre a little choked up. Did they have to tie a big, bright shiny bow on the end of the musical? It totally dumbs it down, which is maybe what theatre-goers want. It killed the tone of the ending for me.

In Spamalot, they did a sing along reprise of "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" after the bows.

Some BWWers will be pleased to know that their favorite new musical, THE FIRST WIVES CLUB, has a curtain call reprise of the iconic "Jump for Joy."

Unfortunately there was no megamix featuring "Ready for a Change"!

Though not a musical, BOEING-BOEING had music and dancing during its curtain call.

The original Sweeney Todd was the one of the first misicals I saw that had no music at all during the curtain calls. The exit music started as the cast left the stage after their final bow.
