Has anyone else had issues canceling their membership to this club? I used it for a year, but decided that I didn't want to renew and received a refund for an auto-renewal. It seems I've been charged a membership fee again despite the previous year's refund.

I've heard rumors that this isn't so great. The Burnt Part Boys was excruciating to sit through, which was by the same team.

I think the producers announced that the show will close instead of casting new replacements.

In the NYTimes post-mortem of "Carrie" I read this: "Broadway buzz is still a benchmark of any successful Off Broadway show, and in this case the silence was deafening." I don't think this is true. I think the smaller spaces bring an intimacy to some shows that would be lost in a bigger Broadway house, so I don't think Broadway buzz is a benchmark of success.
