I saw the revival in NY and have seen it on tour - and I have opinions about the dream ballet...BUT, my question is actually about the moment just prior to the dance:
What lines do the cast recite together before the dream ballet? I know they are instructions for using the Elixir of Egypt, but I can't remember the exact lines and I don't think they are from elsewhere in the script. All I can think of is the line in Nunsense when Rev. Mother finds the bottle of poppers: "Remove lid, aroma will develop."
I think it was a clever way to begin the second act, regardless of what I thought of the ballet itself.

No idea about what lines they recite together, but this was the only bad part of Fish's Oklahoma
