I think LEAP OF FAITH is scheduled for Christmas time opening so if that timing holds, Ashford will not be running between theaters in the spring.

Jesus Christ, Ashford again?? How can this man direct AND choreograph this many productions and not get burnt out? Are there really no other possibilities for directors? And for such a book heavy show, why does this call out for a director/choreographer? I'm kind of sick of this guy.
Ashford did a genius job with Parade and A Streetcar Named Desire at Donmar though, and personally, I thought most of what didn't work in Promises, Promises were the boring original songs and the lame jokes (which thankfully, Sean Hayes sold with all his might). So I'm not sure what Ashford could have done with Promises (though I do agree Cheno was miscast. Thank god for Finneran at least).
But since I actually like the book and songs to H2$, there might be better hope here.
Does anybody have any info on how to audition to be in this production? Just saying...it would love to play Rosemary opposite Dan!
If they're aiming for a spring opening, they probably won't be holding EPAs for a while.
The real reason for SJP's appearance in H2$ in 1996 was that Matthew Broderick had left the show for 6 weeks to shoot "The Cable Guy" therefore Megan's contract had expired already when he was about to complete the remainder of his contract. Because SJP was nabbed for "Once Upon a Mattress" it was a way for her to get her musical theater feet wet, so she was added to the cast for the last month of the production. She was cute in the role but did not have the voice for that particular part.

According to Playbill.com's listing of upcoming shows, this is set to play the Circle in the Square. That should be... interesting?
Love "How to Succeed". But to succeed, it needs a talented comedic actor for the lead role. I hope Radcliffe has the comic chops, oversized stage presence, and ability to connect with a live audience required to carry this particular show. I haven't seen any of these qualities in his work that I've seen so far (Harry Potter and Equus). Hoping he rises to the occasion.
I also think it's unusual that Ashford will be tackling ANOTHER early '60s, Mad Men period, corporate office set musical, so soon after Promises, Promises. It's funny that for Promises, he changed the period to 1962. How to Succeed was originally set in 1961. What era will he switch How to Succeed to?
Looks like newcomer Rose Hemingway will be playing Rosemary. I'll admit I'm a bit disappointed, I was hoping for a Broadway name, but I'm sure if she gave a great audition and did well in the workshops, she's good.
Radcliffe Gets a Broadway Co-Star
For what it is worth, Daniel Radcliffe showed comedic promise in the series "Extras" a couple years ago (which aired on HBO this side of the Atlantic).
Circle in the Square? I hope not!
That's got to be a mistake. LOMBARDI is going into Circle in the Square. And that's an open-ended run.
