Must... Credit card... now! Bye-
This is very exciting!
best news all day~!
Thrilled about this. Let's just hope Ashford doesn't ruin this like he did Promises.
I'm crossing my fingers for this one. I hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as Guys and Dolls, having to follow such a successful revival from the 90s. At the same time I'm sure Daniel's name alone will sell tickets. I can't even imagine what the artwork will look like. The original and revival logo by Doug Johnson are both so iconic. I prefer my fantasy casting of Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Vincent Kartheiser more ...
Will Megan Mullally reprise her role?
At the same time I'm sure Daniel's name alone will sell tickets.
Like it did for EQUUS?
Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about this revival and can't wait to see it. I just don't have as much faith in the selling power of Daniel's name as you do.
True Yero, but also consider that the subject matter/nudity of Equus almost certainly was a factor in that. While a lot of people probably went just to see Harry Potter's schlong, I'd wager there's a bigger group of that fan base who didn't go for that reason (or their parents wouldn't let them).

Will he be naked?
Also, this is the perfect timing to capitalize on his celebrity, as it's between the release of Deathly Hallows part 1 and part 2, presumably when Potter fever will be at full pitch, since those movies have the potential to be some of the biggest movies of all time, at least in terms of box office.
This should sell a few tickets I must say.
Do you think they'll have rush? How early should I get there?
It'll sell a lot of tickets IMO - if the actors who participated in the reading also move to Broadway with the show.
Daniel Radcliff, Michael Urie and David Hyde Pierce!
Oh yeah. I'm there!

Wow! This is fantastic news! I was just thinking the other night how similar HOW TO SUCCEED and PROMISES are. The lead character is a young nebbishy everyman type trying to go up the corporate ladder in very unconventional ways....falling for the pretty office girl along the way....office shenanigans abound. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

This sounds promising so far. I wonder who they'll cast as Rosemary. Surely it will be someone young.
(cheno joke in 3, 2, ....)
I do hope they consider someone age appropriate for the role of "Rosemary".
Spring is going to be a great time on Broadway
I would love to see Ramona Mallory as Rosemary. She would be adorable.
This news made my life. SO EXCITED.

Time to start madly saving up for a trip across the Atlantic ... hopefully the ash cloud will be gone by then!
Excellent news!
This show won the Pulitzer? For some reason I really can't stand this show. Maybe it's just because I haven't seen a good production but I just can't stand it.
So. Excited.
I was JUST mentioning this rumor to someone YESTERDAY! We were BOTH hoping it was true! YIPPEE!!!
Spring is looking interesting for 2011!!!!
