loved the cameos from our broadway actrors and actresses. too bad they didnt have more lines and such. i totally agree with you jennifer and daphne were the only two ethnic people with lines.
loved daphanes monologue in the bathroom. annaleigh was def cute and i loved her too. too bad they didnt cast her to become carries asst. i also did see lin and seth too.
did you all relaize annaleigh played another ditzy role.
it was a great movie overrall.

did no one realize that Josh Henry was Jennifer Hudson's boyfriend (Will)?? IN THE HEIGHTS and soon-to-be Judas in GODSPELL.

also... just to clear something up... Lin Manuel Miranda was in it twice. In the scene where they go apartment hunting, he is lifting a couch into a moving van (and Seth Stewart, aka: Graffitti Pete, is on the steps).

He also is the coffee shop waiter who hands Miranda a drink, at the end, when she is making the Pro/Con list.

p.s. - absolutely loved the movie! What did everyone else think?

I got an email from SJB today and she that while she's received a lot of emails about her being in the movie...it is NOT her.

Ruby Crawford from The Color Purple is the little girl at the end who I think is supposed to be Jennifer Hudson's little sister. She says something like "your boobies look huge!"

Anyway- the movie was so awesome. I don't know why people were complaining about the length. It could have been like 8 hours longer and included a dinner break and I totally would have been good.

I was just going to say that i saw the movie for the 2nd time this evening (first time was for the plot, second time was for the clothes and shoes..lol) and i paid close attention because i thought it was Steph too the first time around...and when you look closely, its definitely not her!
