I'm seeing Hedwig and was wondering if:
a. Darren does stage door.
b. If he does, how long is the wait? You know so I tell my parents and send them to a bar so they don't nag me.

I haven't stage doored but I have heard that he always does, but it could be a bit of a wait. Some posters on this board mentioned that it took him 2 hours one day. So take that for whatever it is worth.

I walked past the theatre after seeing Something Rotten on Tuesday and it was very crowded and he still hadn't come out and it was about 10:30ish. I'm seeing Hedwig tonight and can't wait!

I think he's also said he does not come out after matinees on two-show days.

Tell me how it is I see it tomorrow afternoon! Does that change the wait time?

A friend of mine stage-doored at 'Hedwig' a couple of weeks ago and said it took a little over an hour before he came out. But he says Darren was very gracious and chatty. And while you can take photos as he signs, Darren doesn't pose for photos.
Also: the stage door is divided into two areas: the area behind the barricades (nearest the theater) is reserved for people who went to that evening's show. The area on the other side (furthest from the theater) is for fans in general. ... It's possible Darren doesn't come out after matinees on 2-show days. I'm sure he needs his rest.

Last night it took him about an hour and a half to come out. He was very chatty and sweet and signed for tons of people. We were lucky that he came to our end first (we were the dry end of the line under the marquis) as it was raining pretty bad. It was really busy though, so its a good idea to get out of the theatre as fast as you can.

Went Saturday Matinee and Darren DID come out after the show. It took about an hour. No selfie pictures were allowed but Darren signed for all he could and had conversations with those who wanted to talk to him.
