David Hyde Pierce vacation?

I remember reading that David Hyde Pierce would be on vacation recently and can't find the dates anywhere. Don't know if I dreamed it or not but I have searched several sites for the article. I'm just wondering because I may be in city this week and am interested in seeing the show. If anyone has info. please reply.......Thanks

He was out for vacation from October 9-14. He returned on October 16.

Does anyone happen to know when DHP will be on vacation again?? I'm sending my parents to NY for a few days and my mother loves him...they're going February 20-24th...

He'll be on vacation from April first to April 13th.

Iluvcioffi, where did you get those dates?

It seems highly unusual that a principal; especially DHP, and especially at the beginning of the Spring season, would take a full 12 days off. Normally it wouldn't be announced so early either. Perhaps you should double check your source.

Stage Fan, I looked on Broadway.com, but I don't know why it's even there.

Plus, I don't get why Broadway.com makes some stuff up.

I also don't get why I even said that.

I must be stupid. And I don't get that Bway.com would talk about David like that. Now I feel horrible that the site thinks he'll take a two week break.

You're not stupid iluvcioffi. How could you be - you're smart enough to know DHP is the best, right.

I just don't want anyone not buying tickets because they think DHP won't be in the show at that time. No problem. So then, just to clarify, DHP will NOT be on vacation April 1-13, right?

I don't want people not buying tickets, either. And you're right--I'm not stupid. I just say that sometimes but I don't have a clue why. :)
