Dear Evan Hansen Seating

I've been trying to get a ticket to this show for months and finally stumbled on a single seat for the matinee on May 24, which I immediately bought. The seat is Left Mezz, Row D, #7, and the price on Telecharge was $313.

Now I'm wondering why this ticket suddenly showed up. Can anyone tell me whether this is:

1. A bad seat location, or
2. A date when Ben Platt is scheduled to be out.

I looked for performance information for Ben and everything I've read (including on this board) indicates that he has no announced days off and hasn't missed any shows so far in the run.

Can anyone alleviate my anxiety?

Don't be nervous! Sometimes people's plans change, and Telecharge is really good about letting people move tickets around. Grab the ticket while you can!

Side tip: keep an eye on the site as the show gets closer. I had 1 ticket for this Wednesday's matinee (I'm coming in from Minn), and it was a far side ticket in the back of the main level. About 4 days before the show, a ticket in the front row of the mezzanine (same price level) showed up, and I just called Telecharge and they moved my seat. THEN, yesterday, a seat in the 2nd row orchestra showed up and I called and they moved me again. So by keeping an eye on it, I moved into a MUCH better seat for no extra $$!

Thanks all, I feel much better about this now! And to clarify, I bought the ticket as soon as I found it, but I was starting to slip into "buyer's remorse".

josh147, thanks so much for your tip - it never occurred to me that one could change seats like that. Telecharge is generally much more accommodating than their competition (i.e., Ticketmaster), so I'll continue to monitor.

Thanks, but my ticket is in row D of the Left Mezz, not Orchestra.
