To Whom It may Concern,
As you ready yourselves for this years awards show, I find myself in the awkward position yet again of getting down on my virtual hands and knees and pleading with you (hopefully successfully this year) to give equal representation to the plays that, come Tuesday, will be nominated for Tony awards. I know they don't have the fancy songs the musicals do, but these productions deserve an equal chance of box office boosts as the musicals have. Having actors from the plays stand in front of a projection for 20 seconds and give a 3rd grade book report on the plot is insulting and embarrassing and for some of the worlds finest actors who will be nominated next week, they deserve much better. Obviously, I'm not asking you to get casts of closed productions back together and perform a scene should they be nominated (unless you want to...) but those plays still running have just as much of a right to let the world see what they're doing 8 times a week as any other show on Broadway.
I hope you read this and take it seriously. I'm asking everyone who reads this post to sign below.
Thank you for your time,
J.C.
