Well I just recieved a newsletter from the cerritos perfoming arts center and it has Aida listed as coming. And then inside a very small picture of what I think is Ms Cox. Anyone?

DAME: Doubt she'll be doing a tour - though i'd definitely pay to see it. I believe she's heading back into the studio after her bway run.

Sorry crp, I couldn't help myself. I'm happy to hear Ms. Cox is heading into the recording studio, I still listen to her "One Wish" cd over and over.

For some reason they closed the original thread. You can't make new posts on it. I don't know why . With all the other garbage around here; why they would put a end to the one thread that was pure fun is beyond me.

Yeah - I'm looking forward to Deborah doing a tour in support of her R&B material. I just caught Teena Marie's show in Philly and was thinking Deborah should do a similar tour of small venues - and i don't mean gay clubs!

This past weekend in Bethesda, MD I saw a production of 'The World Goes Round', a musical revue of all things Kander and Ebb. I would love to see Idina Menzel, Lisa Brescia, and Deborah Cox in a BWay revival of it. I know that everyone on this board is not so fond of musical revues though.

I read in an article a couple months back that Deb was in talks for the Dreamgirls revival. I have no clue what role she would play (I don't think she fits perfectly into either of the three lead female roles) and the article didnt say what role she was in talks for. Anybody have any info on this?
