Deborah was absolutely amazing last night at Therapy. She performed "The Gods Love Nubia" and "Easy As Life Remix." She is such a gracious, charming, gorgeous young woman.

As for DREAMGIRLS, I think Deb would be perfect as either Deena Jones or Lorell. I think Frenchie Davis will end up as Effie White. Deb also mentioned that "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" is coming to Broadway soon. So expect Deb to be on Broadway again in the near future. Updated On: 6/15/04 at 04:48 AM

I think Deb would be good in Why Do Fools Fall in Love. That should have never been a movie (If it was never made we'd have a Dreamgirls movie)it shouldve been a bway musical from the start.

I agree that she'd be great in WDFFIL. I could also see her rounding out the cast of the Wiz revival if that thing ever gets off ground. Those choices are a bit predictable however. This past weekend, I saw The World Goes Round, a musical revue of the works of Ebb and Kander staged in Bethesda, MD and couldn't help but imagine Deborah C., Idina M., and Kristine C.on that stage giving us their take on E & K's material.

Its decided...she's a SUPERSTAR. How did I draw that conclusion? Well on her message board, there is this raging debate over whether she's had any WORK done or not. Now you know that's fodder for SUPERSTAR fan sites only.

Deborah is ending the show, she'll be there until September 5th. Adam's first night is tonight -- they have an added Monday show to make up for not having a show on July 4th.

I was at Will Chase's final performance yesterday. Deborah gave one of the best performances I've seen of hers. She was obviously very emotional about Will leaving. Towards the end of the show she was having trouble singing because she was trying so hard to hold back the tears and by the time her and Will sang the Enchantment Passing Through reprise the tears were pouring down her face and you could hear her sobbing. It was an amazing and very touching performance.
