HI Everyone,

I am bringing a couple of elderly relatives to see CMIYC. We are trying to have dinner at some place not terribly expensive and within the same block (mobility issues make walking more difficult for two). Any suggestions for good places to eat in the same block as Neil Simon Theatre, but not too expensive (for comparison, I consider Gallagher's expensive). Your thoughts/assistance would be appreciated.

Great recommendations - thanks

This might be a little more expensive than you want, but Thalia is on the corner of 8th Avenue and 50th, and my whole family loved it. It's a nice place and only 2 blocks from the Simon. Hope that helps!

Edit: Link didn't post.

^ I second Thalia. I went there one night with a group after we had gone to an event at Touch nightclub, which is on the same street.

You could try Eatery - 9th and 53rd. It's my fave.
