Posted: 3/8/11 at 2:20pmWe need new young comedy talent everywhere. Carol got her break at a very young age, why not new fresh talent in tv/film now, like Amanda Sears. Carol stepped off the stage long ago, and we need new talent, like Amanda. Let's reward talent at all ages.

I bet if she had to break in today as a new, young talent, you very well would see her on the the net, playing, "Angie, The Trucker." You bet. She'd be a great "Angie." I'd love to see these two side by side, Carol and Amanda, playing Angie trucker types today: It would be hilarious! Tough-talking Carol and Amanda crossing the country in their rig.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I thought Leslie Kritzer and her timely 2008 election humor was the next Carol Burnett.
So did she. No one seems to be interested in her aside from Broadway. Even SNL said they were not interested when she submitted her highly crowd-pleasing video audition she posted on YouTube.com

I think there can only be one of these girls. The world simply cannot handle both of their huge comic talents. I suggest a grudge match to the death:

Posted: 3/8/11 at 5:28pmAmanda Sears almost looks like Carol Burnett. In one comedy sketch, "Annie's Craving For Rough Sex" she's well on her way to a million hits, which is amazing for a relatively unknown performer. Amanda is blessed with wonderful comedy talent.
