Design of ANNIE official website

Why would they design their official page so dark? It looks like a badly designed website for a high school production of Spring Awakening. Sure, it has the Annie logo, but their color scheme is.. black and white ?

There's also a compatibility issue with the bios. You can scroll within the boxes in which they appear, but the actual boxes themselves lock in place somewhat downward on the screen, so the ending text is cut off in all of them.

In general, the entire site looks very shoddily designed.

Everything about the logo and marketing of this show thus far looks like a bad web 2.0 job done my a middle schooler for their powerpoint presentation.

The arts & crafts merchandise does look horrific. And isn't it copyright infringement? Why on earth use a new rendering for the character when the original THE ENTIRE SHOW IS BASED ON is so freakin' iconic??? It's like drawing new Peanuts characters for You're a Good Man Charlie Brown or Snoopy. Utter nonsense.
